This educational program will consist of 4 virtual events. During each of the four events, a highly relevant clinical scenario will be focused on:

• The identification, assessment and differential diagnosis of adolescents with first episode schizophrenia;
• The selection of treatments and sequential testing of their efficacy until sufficient efficacy and effectiveness are observed;
• The monitoring, detection and management of adverse effects;
• Identifying potential challenges and addressing them when adolescents transfer from the child and adolescent psychiatry service to the adult psychiatry service.

Each event is focused on a specific topic and the presence of a moderator allows a very high degree of discussion about specific clinical practices and practice gaps.

GENERAL INFORMATIONS:

Scheduled newsletters with all the necessary information will be sent to all attendees in the weeks before the meeting. The link to access to the live broadcast will be sent every single day of the event.

The official language of the meeting is ENGLISH. A simultaneous translation will be available for the following languages: Italian, Polish, Russian, Spanish.

UEMS-EACCME® CME:  An application has been made to the UEMS EACCME® for CME accreditation of this event.

The virtual meeting has been granted 1 European CME credits (ECMEC®s) by the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for each live session.

ITALIAN CME: The virtual meeting has been accredited only for:

• Profession: Physician
• Discipline: Psychiatry, Psychotherapy
• Profession: Psychologist
• Discipline: Psychiatry, Psychotherapy

It is no possible to obtain Italian CME credits for other professions/discipline.

For the attribution of Italian CME credits, it will be necessary to:

• Take part in at least 90% of live scientific session for each day.
• Correctly answer at least 75% of the questions of the CME questionnaire for each meeting.
• Complete the perceived quality assessment questionnaire.

At the end of each session, an e-mail will be sent with the link to access the CME-On Line website. The presence, required by CME regulation, will be tracked during each live session calculating the connection time.
